Vientiane Visa Run

Prior to the whole visa run crackdown scare, I did my first and only visa run to Vientiane ~ the capital city of Laos. The two-day trip didn't leave a whole lot of time for exploring, but in my opinion, you don't need much longer than a day and a half to see most of the sleepy city's top sights anyway. Using a visa run service, I traveled with other Bangkokians looking to renew their visas and ended up meeting a couple of Casey's co-workers even before he did! Talk about a small world...

P.S. I applied for and received a new double-entry tourist visa, so looks like I'll be coming back to Bangkok no problem next week!
