Diablo Taco

It's rare that I crave Mexican food, but when we were in LA I couldn't get enough. California boasts some of the best in the States and I figured we wouldn't be able to find a lot of tacos or enchiladas when we crossed over to the Eastern Hemisphere. (I couldn't have been more wrong. There are a ton of Mexican joints all over Bangkok, but we haven't had the chance to try any yet!)

After working up an appetite walking around Echo Park, Candice took us to Diablo to scarf down "urban" tacos with a twist. With toppings like caramelized banana and potato purée, these bad boys are anything but ordinary but might just be the best tacos I've ever tasted.
